I hope we can just chat about singing, church music, worship styles, how to find music you like to sing, how to find good people to sing with, great days you had in the choir, how directors help or hinder you, how you make the most of a plain hymn, and whatever else you think about when it comes to church singing.

Great idea! I hope you draw large following.
My church is experiencing a wave of increased interest in participatory music. That is, our "normal" members want to do more than just listen. Is that true at other churches?
I'd like to know. I'd also like to know if those churches are mainstream denominations and whether they consider themselves "evangelical"
