Hi, Singers!
Not enough time to sort? Maybe I can help.
I've done a mini-survey of singer-friendly music websites and posted a bunch of links here on this blog. There were 3 criteria to get on this list once I found a music site:
1) Is the music good enough to listen to for a while?
2) Avoid commercial sites unless they lead to a good music/worship product; and
3) Did I want the link there, anyway, 1 & 2 notwithstanding?
That's the nice thing about starting the blog. I get to decide. :-) Actually, I'd love to hear about other high-quality church singer sites and what you think about anything on my list.
Hope you find something interesting AND helpful on the list.
Keep singing, friends!

Praise Bands and other singer evolutions
Does your church have a praise band, worship team, or other-named group of singers with electric instruments & amplifiers?
Let's get some information flowing here. I'd like to know if you have other singing groups at your church besides the praise band, how your praise team rehearses (when, what happens at rehearsals, do you read off of music papers or just improvise, who leads, and so forth), and how the church makes room for you.
Do you find praise music easy to learn, or difficult?
Write soon!

Hi, Church Singers! This blog's for you.
Do you like to sing at church? I hope we can just chat about singing, church music, worship styles, how to find music you like to sing, how to find good people to sing with, great days you had in the choir, how directors help or hinder you, how you make the most of a plain hymn, and whatever else you think about when it comes to church singing.
Let me know anything you want to discuss or tips for getting your music together, learning music, where to go hear good music, whatever! I'm just learning how to build a blog, so anything you can send along will be fine, too.
Rules are simple: no disrespect, no cruelty (well, organists . . . NO, only kidding), and all for the good of the order, which is Church Singing!!
